Abstract
이 연구는 초등교원양성대학의 다문화교육 교사교육의 타당성과 합리성을 준거로 예비교사 들을 위한 다문화교육 강좌의 내용 구성과 운영의 실태를 파악하고 이를 통해 다문화교육 강좌 구성과 운영의 방향을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 현재 10개의 초등교원양성대학에서 실시하고 있는 다문화교육과 관련된 강좌의 실태를 분석하여 문제점과 개선점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이 과정에서 관련된 선행연구들을 고찰하고 강의계획서를 토대로 비교함으로써 다문화교육을 위한 교사 역량의 요소를 적극적으로 고려하고, 강좌의 양적인 성장만큼 교육목표, 내용, 방법에서도 논리적인 질서가 요구됨을 강조하였다. 현재 각 교육대학마다 매우 개별적이고 차별적으로 이루어지고 있는 다문화교육 강좌에 대해서는 보편성과 교육적 기능을 감안하여 우선적으로 다문화교육을 위한 교사 역량 및 구성과 운영의 접근성과 효용성을 높일 수 있는 표준화된 강좌의 모델이 필요하다고 보았다.The purpose of this study is to identify the contents and operation of multicultural education lectures for pre-service teachers based on the validity and rationality of multicultural education teacher education at elementary school teachers. To this end, the present situation of the lectures related to multicultural education, which is currently being carried out by 10 elementary teacher training universities, was analyzed; problems and improvements were also sought. In this process, we examined related researches and compared them based on the lecture plan, and emphasized that we need to actively consider factors of teacher capacity for multicultural education and that logical order is required in educational goals, contents and methods as well as quantitative growth of lectures. For the multicultural education courses that are currently being conducted individually and differently for each educational institution, the standardized lecture model should be agreed upon to enhance the accessibility and utility of teacher capacity, composition, and operation for multicultural education in consideration of universality and educational function .
