Abstract

There are many graphics software packages now available which can produce complex and colourful images on a variety of computers. In this paper the author examines two low-cost pieces of software designed specifically for the IBM PC and Polaroid Palette and assesses the capabilities of Palette itself and the software, their ease of use and the quality of the resultant transparencies.
