Abstract

Human resources are considered as most valuable asset for any organisation. But neither legislative provisions nor financial reporting standards provide any method of quantification of investment and outcomes of the human resources. Thus present paper provides perceptual understanding of Human Resource Audit in Indian organisations. Paper successfully highlights poor awareness and availability of HRA in Indian scenario. Further hypotheses and tabulation of data provides in-depth understanding of variations based on gender, sector and nature of organisations. And lastly scopes for future researchesand limitations have also been discussed.
