Abstract

At present, countries with different cultural backgrounds in the world have different interpretations of Chinas Belt & Road Initiative, and these interpretations have affected the realization of the goals of the Belt and Road policy and international relations. Therefore, this study will devote itself to studying the different attitudes towards Chinas Belt and Road Initiative in the different social contexts of China and the social contexts of the United States. Moreover, it will take the different attitudes presented as a starting point to explore the specific reasons behind the differences in attitudes. Focus on the two questions How do China and the United States view the Belt and Road Initiative in the general political and social environment of China and the United States and How have these attitudes and differences been caused, and what are their underlying factors? Therefore, from the perspective of the Belt and Road Initiative in this article, it could be further explored that the cultural differences reflected Chinas ideology and ideology from America and understand these cultural differences. The research will be conducted by screening the literature. Finally, it is concluded that American thinking is more inclined to force the maximization of interests at the level of values, while Chinese thinking is more inclined to interests that must contain moral benevolence and righteousness. Therefore, different thinking at the philosophical level has contributed to the differences between the two sides when they look at the Belt and Road Initiative.
