Abstract

Internet innovation is an emerging phenomenon in economic crises. In the COVID-19 era, the analysis of new modes of information and communication through devices is the objective of this study. An exploratory, psychometric, and correlational study was carried out with a sample of 187 students from a public university in central Mexico. The results show the prevalence of three factors: usefulness, efficiency, and use of the Internet. In relation to the state of the art, lines of research related to the intensive use of mobile phones are recommended.
