Exploration on the Development and Transformation of Power Industry under the Trend of Double Carbon

Abstract

The power industry is the primary area to achieve the “double carbon” goal, its low-carbon development plays a role in promoting China's realization of the “double carbon” goal. Starting from China's actual national conditions and carbon emission reduction targets, combined with the current situation of China's energy structure and the current domestic “double carbon” situation. The challenges and opportunities for high-quality energy development of China's power industry under the “double carbon” goal are obtained. On this basis, four dominant ways for China's high-quality energy development under the goal of “carbon neutrality” are put forward. That is, energy conservation and efficiency improvement, optimization of energy structure, technological innovation and breakthrough, and building a new power system with new energy as the main body.
