Abstract

With the changes in people's production and lifestyle by the development of science and technology, the traditional packaging is quietly changing. Under the premise of satisfying the basic functions of packaging, the intelligent packaging that fully embodies personalized consumer demand,highlighting humanistic care and expanding product functions is gradually emerging. This type of packaging is based on the integrated use of advanced design elements such as modern intelligent materials, intelligent technologies and intelligent structures to enhance the protection of packaging and to meet the special needs of consumers. Basedon the case study of Chinese and foreign intelligent packaging design, this paper elaborates the concept and characteristics of intelligent packaging design through the interpretation of intelligent packaging technology and principle, analyzes the representation of intelligent packaging design, and systematically explores the intelligent packaging design method.
