Abstract

Objective To explore the training mode of ophthalmological specialty nurses, and promote the development of ophthalmological specialty nurses. Methods We developed a personalized, targeted, and standardized training model according to the specific circumstances of the department. Results The professional theory and skills of nurses increased statistically after the training (P<0.05) . Meanwhile, the patient satisfaction degree and the quality of nursing were all improved. Conclusions Systematic professional theory and professional skills training could improve the professional ability of ophthalmic nurses. It could also meet the needs of children and their parents for clinical quality nursing services, as well as benefits the cultivation and development of ophthalmic specialist nurses.
