Abstract

Exploitation and characterization of resistance to the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita (Nematoda, Tylenchida) in soybean (Glycine max L. Merr) Host plant resistance can be used to manage Meloidogyne incognita in soybean. This study identified resistant cultivars and showed a poor correlation between early and late pest and damage assessments. The identification of resistance contributes to soybean breeding programs in South Africa.
