Abstract
The digital simulation of continuous-time linear time-invariant systems is based on methods for the numerical solution of differential equations. While there are many methods for the same, the transformation methods are very convenient in a systems context. In this work, the author seeks to improve the stability and accuracy properties of explicit multistep transformation methods. The second-order transformations that are derived show improved performance during simulations, confirming the theory. >
