Abstract

A general method for constructing the extension of an ordinary Lie algebra 𝒜0 to a superalgebra 𝒜0⊕𝒜1 is given, once one knows in which representation of 𝒜0 the odd generators 𝒜1 are. Explicit matrix representations for the superalgebras F(4) and G(3), and for ordinary algebras E8, F4, and G2 are presented.
