Abstract
Ontology is the taxonomy representation of the Knowledge which enhances the capability of the representation of the data and makes data in machine readable format. It is the need of Semantic Web Technologies. Now a day’s many of the organizations want to be the part of it. Authors provide a survey of Ontology making, integration with the DSpace and its uses. The paper contributes as follows: 1) an overview of semantic technology and ontology 2) Ontology development and uses 3) Investigation of the concepts and relationships for Computer Science Domain Ontology 4) Integration and deployment of Computer Science Ontology with the DSpace. 5) Searching and filtering the results after querying the Ontology.
