Abstract
On the basis of Okubo's dispersion approach, the resonance contribution to the current algebra result for nonleptonic decays of hyperons is calculated via Regge theory. A four parameter best-fit solution to both s and p-wave amplitudes is found to be in very good agreement with experiment. Our result provides a uniform explanation of puzzling features of previous work.
