Abstract

In Part 1 in the July/August Alternatives, Prof. Robert H. Jerry II began an overview of the current state of the use of alternative dispute resolution practices in the U.S. insurance industry by focusing extensively on mass disaster claims. This month, he returns with the second of two parts to comment on claims processing in automobile and homeowners' and in health insurance, as well as the health care industry more generally.
