Abstract
Abstract The Expert Preference System is a computer assisted procedure for developing a decision maker's preference utility function. The system will elicit proper preferences for different levels of criteria from the decision maker by supplying useful information and by checking inconsistencies in the responses. The system will then determine the mathematical function that will best predict and describe the decision maker's preference utility function.
