Abstract
Monolayer cell cultures infected in the usual way with human papilloma virus produced no significant changes. However, when a nucleic acid extract of the virus was used and the cultures were incubated at a lower temperature (33°C), perinuclear fluorescence was observed 6 weeks after inoculation.
