Abstract

The objective of this work is to evaluate the performance of Alkaline Fuel Cell in producing hydrogen and oxygen mixture. The effect of voltage, current, plates number, KOH concentrations and temperature are evaluated. The study shows that the relation between applied voltage between two plates and hydrogen–oxygen mixture production is a non-monotonic relation and reach maximum at 2 V. The study shows that hydrogen–oxygen mixture production increases as current intensity decreases. The current intensity is directly increasing with KOH concentration.
