Abstract
We propose in this paper to propound a solution to the methodological problems of economic science. We shall do this in terms of the conceptual framework developed by Professor Churchman. Following Professor Churchman we shall view the different methodological schools of thought in economics from a dialectical point of view and then develop the experimentalist methodology of economic science. This experimentalist methodology is a dialectical synthesis of the rationalist, empiricist, criticist and relativist methodologies.
