Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present the results of the analysis of the experimental verification of the effectiveness of the methodology for developing intercultural competence of Chinese students (level B1) in the process of teaching Slavic languages as foreign languages. The object of study is the results of the analysis of the above-mentioned experiment; the subject of study is the methodological methods of forming intercultural competence of Chinese students of Slavic languages. The material included in the experiment is several texts for children’s reading. To achieve this goal, the methods of describing the procedure of the experiment, systematizing its results, the method of mathematical processing, as well as methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results of the experiment were used. The procedure for conducting experimental training based on the developed methodology is described. As conclusions, the results of testing at the stating and control stages of the experiment are presented in a comparative aspect. In the article are demonstrated the results of mathematical processing of the obtained statistical data. And the comments for further research in the development of methods for the formation of intercultural competence are proposed.
