Abstract

The angular correlation of a stirrer in a reverberation chamber (RC) can be used to evaluate the performance of a stirrer and control the communication channel in an RC. However, there are different definitions for the angular correlation; it can be defined using the received power of an antenna, or using the complex $\boldsymbol{S}$ -parameters between a transmitting and a receiving antennas. To investigate these definitions, we measure the angular correlation in an RC using different definitions. Equivalences among these definitions are verified and concluded.
