Abstract
The present paper is devoted to an investigation of the motion of s particles from tritium in an adiabatic trap. It is shown that under certain conditions the number of reflections of the s particles from regions of high magnetic field (magnetic mirrors) is greater than 107. The dependence of the lifetime of the s particle in the trap on gas pressure, magnetic field configuration, and field homogeneity is determined.
