Abstract

AbstractIn order to study the influence of nano-clay on the unconfined strength characteristics and energy dissipation of lime soil, the unconfined compressive strength test of lime soil was carried out to analyze the unconfined compressive strength, elastic modulus and strain energy density. On this basis, the functional expressions of unconfined compressive strength, strain energy density and nano-clay content were established. The results show that the unconfined compressive strength, elastic modulus and strain energy density at different ages all increase with the increase of nano-clay content. The unconfined compressive strength and elastic modulus have a linear function relationship with the content of nano-clay, and the strain energy density has an exponential function relationship with the content of nano-clay.
