Abstract

As natural river sand is becoming scarce, replacing natural river sand with other fine aggregates has become an urgent problem. The self-compacting concrete with machine-made is a new type of self-compacting concrete material using machine-made sand as fine aggregate for mixing. At present, the research and engineering application of self-compacting concrete with machine-made sand is relatively small. In this paper, the shear performance of stud connector for steel self-compacting concrete with machine-made sand was studied and three combined members were designed for push-out test. The test results show that the shear capacity and shear stiffness increase with the increase of concrete strength, but the increase rate decrease. And the influence on shear stiffness is greater than that on shear capacity.
