Abstract
The experiment of turbulent heat convection of microencapsulated PCM slurry which flows in a circular tube was based on the MPCM slurry. The slurry used isopropanol/water mixed solution as the base fluid and MPCM28 as the phase change microcapsule particles. The results showed that the pressure drop of heating pipe increased with the increase of turbulent intensity, and decreased with the increasing temperature. However, Nux of the MPCMS increased with the increasing Re as well as the concentration of slurry. But increased first and decreased then with the increase of heat flux.
