Abstract

AbstractWhen the submarine is sailing underwater in different depths, the stress variation of the submarine steel will lead to the change of the submarine magnetic field, which makes it difficult to control the submarine magnetic silencing in real time. Based on the analysis of the basic theory on the magnetomechanical effect, the magnetomechanical effect measurement experiments of typical steel specimens and simple submarine model are designed and the corresponding experimental platforms are built. The magnetic field variation rules with the stress of the steel specimen and the simple submarine model are obtained through the measurement experiments. The stress causes significant changes in the magnetic field of the steel specimen and the submarine simple model, and the amplitude at the typical measurement points can reach thousands of nates. The magnetic field variation has an obvious inflection point and the overall variation is piecewise linear. The experimental methods and relevant research conclusions in the paper can lay a certain foundation for real-time control of the magnetic field anomaly around the submarine when sailing underwater in different depths.KeywordsMagnetomechanical effectMagnetic silencing of submarineMagnetic field measurementMagnetic anomaly
