Abstract

In order to solve the impact of the special geometric characteristics of the ultra-thin atrium on fire prevention and control, this paper uses a full-scale hot smoke experiment method to study the effect of segmented smoke exhaust on the smoke exhaust of the ultra-thin and tall atrium. The results show that the top smoke exhaust plays an important role in the smoke control of the segmenting smoke exhaust system, if it is started late, the smoke will spread widely. Although the middle smoke exhaust changed the visibility of the floors near the smoke vent, it did not improve the smoke exhaust effect in the ultra-thin and tall atrium. When the segmented smoke exhaust is adopted, the phased linkage design of matching make-up air volume and smoke exhaust can be considered.
