Abstract

Saline-alkali land hinders the sustainable development of regional agriculture. In order to understand the law of soil water and salt movement under subsoiling technology, the effect of subsoiling technology on soil water and salt movement in soda saline-alkali soil was studied. Because northeast China is a typical concentrated distribution area of soda saline-alkali land, the representative section of Songnen Plain is selected. Based on the field observation method, the change of water and salt transport in soda saline-alkali soil after the application of subsoiling technology under the existing natural conditions was studied. The 1sz-210 multi-functional vibration subsoiler was selected as subsoiling tool in the experiment. Two sets of groundwater dynamic monitoring systems and four sets of soil water dynamic monitoring systems were set up in the experimental area to monitor groundwater water and salt dynamic and soil water and salt dynamic in 0-–20-cm soil layer. The results showed that (1) after repeated loosening for many years, soil evapotranspiration and runoff decreased, thus reducing soil pH value; (2) after repeated loosening for many years, soil cation exchange capacity and electrical conductivity changed little; (3) after repeated loosening for many years, soil nutrients improved, but did not reach the level of cultivated soil nutrients.
