Abstract

The single pulsating heat pipe and the main pulsating heat pipe are structurally coordinated with each other , So as to form a coupled pulsating heat pipe heat exchanger, using a constant temperature water bath as heat resource and the air as cooling resource.High purity distilled water and anhydrous ethanol were used as working fluids of main pulsating heat pipe and cooperating pulsating heat pipe respectively. By changing the constant temperature water bath temperature, the wall temperature characteristics and heat transfer performance of the pulsating heat pipe were studied experimentally, and compared with the heat transfer characteristics of the pulsating heat pipe without working medium under the same conditions. The results show that the pulsating heat pipe with ethanol as working fluid can operate stably under the action of multi heat source and multi cold source, which is established by cooperating with the main pulsating heat pipe structure, and further enhances the heat transfer performance of the main pulsating heat pipe. At the same time, the mechanism of heat transfer enhancement and mutual excitation between coupled pulsating heat pipes is proposed and qualitatively analyzed under the effect of external field of mutual variable load, so as to maximize the heat transfer performance of coupled pulsating heat pipe heat exchanger. In order to provide reference experience, methods and means for strengthening the phase change heat transfer process in the tube by using pulsating heat pipe as load external field.
