Abstract

In this paper, foam lightweight soil was prepared from river sand and cinder from thermal power plants as raw materials. Combined with the requirements of embankment pouring and backfilling, the strength development, compressive strength, softening coefficient, water absorption, and other physical and mechanical properties of two different aggregate foam lightweight soils were compared. The applicability of foam light soil with river sand and cinder as aggregate in pouring and backfilling of hydraulic structures is analyzed and studied, which provides application and reference for related engineering and solid waste recycling.
