Abstract
In order to investigate the marker of early rejection in small bowel transplantation (SBT),a chain coding gene of interleukin-2 recepto r(IL-2Rα)on the surface of T lymphocyte of recipients in mice was qualitatively assayed 12 h after operation by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(Rt-PCR).Pathological features of the grafts were simultaneously determined. The results showed that the level of IL-2Rα cDNA in allografts was significantly higher than in nonoperative, isograft and allograft being treated with CsA subgroups; No pathological changes in rejection were found in the grafts. It is concluded that activation of IL-2Rα coding gene is the key to induce rejection;CsA may inhibit the traiascription of IL-2Rα coding gene;IL-2Rα coding gene may be used as a marker of early rejection in small bowel transplantation.
