Abstract
This research aims at the problem of excessive temperature stress in the super-long structural system. In order to release the temperature stress and bending moment, a new type of oscillating column structure is proposed. Rubber pads are set up above and below the column to reduce the transmission of bending moment and make the column suffer more shear and axial force. The mechanical properties and mechanism were studied by seismic test. The experimental structure shows that this system has good deformation and mechanical properties compared with ordinary column structure and can be effectively applied to practical engineering.
