Abstract
The more there are applications with magnetic frictional or attractive force, the more the relationship between these forces under the magnetic field applied will be important. Actually, magnetic friction force in the BTM (Belt type Transit system by Magnet) is double or triple to mechanical frictional force. But another report says that magnetic friction is equal to mechanical One. So experimental study based on real driving model becomes more necessary. In this paper, we acquire that the friction coefficient is increased in inverse proportion to air gap length in the magnetic circuit. Furthermore, by simulations of magnetic field in the model with finite element method, the correlation between attractive force and air gap length is observed.
