Abstract

The heat transfer performance of indirect evaporative coolers is usually evaluated by wet-bulb efficiency and total thermal efficiency. However, there will be condensation when the wall temperature is lower than the fresh air dew point temperature in the indirect evaporative cooler. As a result, the heat exchange effect will be enhanced, and the heat exchange amount will increase At this time, the wet bulb efficiency and the total heat efficiency are decreased. Based on this, the paper summarizes and analyses the evaluation index of indirect evaporative cooling heat transfer efficiency and through the experimental research method. The comparison between the change of heat exchange quantity and the evaluation index of heat transfer efficiency is carried out. Finally, the COP is consistent with the change trend of fresh air heat exchange capacity, which can be used to evaluate the heat transfer performance of indirect evaporative cooler.
