Abstract

The quality of gas treatment in dust collectors with counter swirling flows depends on the value of the centrifugal force which throws dust particles from the flow, so special attention is paid to the swirl intensity of the secondary flow in the lower duct branch of such apparatuses. The paper gives the numerical studies results of the influence of the parameters of secondary flow lower duct branch on the flow structure and swirl intensity at the separation chamber inlet of dust collector with counter swirling flows.
