Abstract

In this paper, the authors will investigate the effect of reinforcement concrete (RC) beams strengthened with high-strength fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) at the tensile zone. The experiments did at the HCMC University of Technical Education. The assessments are given based on the experimental model with reinforcement concrete beams corresponding to the concrete grades of M20, M25, M30 in compressive zone and the SFRC in the tensile zone. Comparison results of the RC beams with and without SFRC showed that the beams with SFRC have the increase of beam bearing capacity, and the behavior of beams changed significantly compared to conventional RC beams.
