Abstract

This experiment was a study about the treatment of simulated dyestuff wastewater by coagulant of FeCl3. The removal rates of turbidity and color were investigated by changing the dosages of the coagulant for dye wastewater. The experiment results showed when the concentration of FeCl3was 2g/L, the optimum dosages of FeCl3were 9,6 and 8mL for three kinds of simulated dye wastewater of direct sun-proof light green, yellow and scarlet. Under these conditions, the removal rates of turbidity were 86.2%, 83.6% and 93.4%, and the removal rates of color were 82.7%, 61.4% and 79.0%.
