Abstract
The hydrodynamics of upward water jets and the heat transfer in water vapor condensation on these jets are studied as applied to the operating conditions of direct-contact jet condensers and deaerators used in evaporators and other technological equipment. An equation is derived to describe the dependence of the heat transfer on the basic design and operating parameters of equipment with upward water jets.
