Abstract

AbstractIn order to decouple the reduction process of Char‐NO under pressurized conditions, a pressurized horizontal tube furnace experimental system was used to explore the NO reduction characteristics of pressurized pyrolysis char samples prepared under different conditions (0.3–1.2 MPa, 800–1000°C, 0.3–3.0 s). The research results showed that increasing pyrolysis pressure/temperature/residence time can inhibit the Char‐NO characteristics. When the environmental pressure increased, the reduction rate of NO gradually increased. As the reduction time increased, the total reduction of NO and the contents of C(N) structure on the surface of the residual char samples increased, some N‐5 structure with poor thermal stability would gradually undergo condensation polymerization to form N‐6 and N‐Q structures under the high temperature/high pressure conditions. Under the real pressurized conditions, the effect of reducing NO by char samples was the best at 0.6 MPa under real pressurized conditions in the pressure range of 0.3–1.2 MPa.
