Abstract

AbstractThe production water system pipeline of natural gas treatment plant plays an important role in the process of receiving, treating and reinjecting produced water in Sulige gas field. The reinjection pressure of produced water in gas field is generally higher, so the flow rate is higher, which causes great erosion and corrosion to the pipeline. Once the corrosion causes perforation and leakage, it will cause environmental pollution and economic losses to the treatment plant, and threaten the safe operation of the produced water system. By comparing the operation, water quality and pipeline metal hanging test, erosion corrosion test and perforation corrosion test of the produced water system in Sulige gas treatment plants, it is concluded that the corrosion of the produced water system in Sulige gas field is mainly electrochemical corrosion and erosion corrosion. The anticorrosion effect of the produced water system in Sulige gas field can be significantly improved by optimizing the pipeline, chemicals and tank anticorrosion design or modification.KeywordsSulige gas fieldCorrosionFluid velocityPipeline modelProtection
