Abstract

In order to study the seismic performance of the composite reinforced concrete T-shaped columns, two reinforced T-shaped columns and one not reinforced T-shaped concrete column under constant axial loading and a group of repeating low fre-quency lateral loading confined by CFRP and steel plant are researched. Basis on the test select constitutive relations and reasonable parameters for every kind of material and use ANSYS finite element program to analysis these reinforced T-shaped columns. And compared the result with the experimental results. Basis on the analysis the seismic performance of the composited columns along the two axis were calculated. The results show that: the analysis results are same with the test results. The carrying capacity, ductility and seismic performance of the composite reinforced T-shaped columns all improved. Full wrapped CFRP can work better than the band wrapped in improving the seismic performance of T-shaped columns. After the T-shaped column had been reinforced, both the horizontal bearing capacity and deformation capacity are difference along the two project axis. The bearing capacity along the section symmetry axis is larger than the bearing capacity along the other axis.
