Abstract

The results of experimental studies of the effect of various pretreatment modes on the mechanical properties of two-phase ferritic-martensitic 20 and 20G2R steels are presented. The application of such steels for the manufacture of high strength fasteners will allow to obtain the required strength class of fasteners only due to strain hardening in the process of cold metal forming without final heat hardening, it will lead to a reduction in production costs and a reduction in the laboriousness of fastener manufacturing.
