Abstract

In order to achieve effective stripping of thin-layer ore and bedrock, and to reduce the impact on deep-ocean environment, pulse plasma discharge technology was proposed. The energy transmission model based on equivalent circuit of discharge channel was established to simulate the energy injection and energy consumption of the discharge channel. An all-solid-state repetition rate pulsed power supply with 100 ns risetime was designed and developed for the experimental researches. The breakdown voltage of the artificial crusts and the artificial bedrock were tested. The results show that the breakdown voltage is apparently different. The energy consumption was calculated and the results show that the energy injection is benefit for the crushing.
