Abstract

Abstract This paper presents the design, simulation and experimental validation of a Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) speed control. The technique applied was passivity based-control. All the process of design, simulation and experimental test is described for each state. The experimental test is carried out with the system TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT of Texas Instruments, all processes for implementation are described and the final diagram for obtaining the code. The simulation and experimental results validating the control strategy are illustrated and analysed.
