Abstract

The Light Emitting Diodes used widely in GLS (General Lighting Service) are loads powered by a DC current, for this reason it is necessary to use a system of energy conversion either AC/DC in the lighting of houses for example, or DC/DC in the applications of lighting electric automotive. The aim of this study is to quantify the magnetic near field above LED Driver, in order to know the most intense areas generating the radiated emissions of magnetic field form for the three components <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\left(\mathbf{H}_{\mathbf{X}}, \mathbf{H}_{\mathbf{Y}}, \mathbf{H}_{\mathbf{Z}}\right)$</tex> . Then, the radiated emissions for the three directions were compared between them with varying the amplitude above the LED driver circuit. Finally, the maps of magnetic field in the frequency domain were realized by using spectrum analyzer after a scan with a step of 0. 5 cm on the LED driver size which is equal to <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$(\mathbf{x},\ \mathbf{y}){=}$</tex> (2.8 cm, 1.6 cm) powered by an AC 220Vsource under a frequency of 50 Hz.
