Abstract

In this study, condensation heat transfer coefficients (HTCs) of refrigerant R-600a (iso-butane) over horizontal 3-Dimensional integral-fin tubes were determined at vapor temperature of 312 K with wall sub-cooling temperatures of 3–9 K under heat flux of 33–87 kW/m2. Further, our experimental results were validated by comparing them with modified Wilson plot technique. Modified Wilson plot technique underpredicts experimental heat flux by 15–35%.
