Abstract

The paper presents an experimental investigation of solar panel integrated with mirror reflected and cooling. The performance of the PV module decreases at the peak hours of sunlight, due to the loss of energy in the form of heat as the temperature of the module increases. Therefore, the cooling of the solar panel may increase the overall performance of the PV module. An attempt has made to improve the performance of the solar PV module by integrating mirror reflector and cooling of the panel. Subsequently, a comparatively analysis has been presented among three conditions, i.e., simple solar panel, solar panel with cooling, and solar panel with mirror reflector and cooling. The results show significant improvement using the proposed cooling system along with the mirror reflector.
