Abstract

In the present work, the liquid kinematic viscosity and surface tension of two low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants as potential working fluids in heat pump, refrigeration, and organic Rankine cycles were investigated under saturation conditions by surface light scattering in the temperature range from (303.15 K to Tc). With the experimental data, a van der Waals type equation, and a polynomial equation with an additional term were proposed to correlate the surface tension and viscosity data, respectively.
