Abstract

Nonlinear effects of submicro-diameter optic fiber were investigated by experiment. The results show that submicro-diameter optic fiber has smaller nonlinear threshold value, more nonlinear spectral lines than the common optical fiber, which is highly important to weak light optical fiber communication and the design of fiber optic sensors.
