Abstract
The main objective of this project is to experimentally and scientifically prove the fact, that Ferrocement is a suitable technology for developing countries with Eco-friendly. The Ferrocement is a versatile technology in which cement mortar or plaster is applied over the wire mesh along with support of reinforcement bar. Since the river sand is not an environmental friendly material there is a need for alternative material for fine aggregate. The quarry dust has been fully replaced for conventional fine aggregate. The load deflection curve and the crack pattern formed on rectangular ferrocement channel under axial compression have been determined.
