Abstract
AbstractThe frequency‐selective property of an array of rectangular dipole microstrip patches, resonant at two frequencies in the J band and two other frequencies in the Ku band, has been investigated experimentally. Measured data indicate that the electromagnetic wave transmits well through the frequency‐selective surface (FSS) in the frequency range of 8.2 to 11.4 GHz and scatters well (around 20 dB) from the FSS in the frequency ranges of 6.3 to 7.7 GHz and 12.4 to 13.9 GHz. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
